最終更新: 2026年7月11日The Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT) is a member of the new class of Extremely Large Telescopes (ELTs). Located at Las Campanas Observatory in Chile, it will use seven of the world's largest mirrors to achieve a resolving power ten times greater than the Hubble Space Telescope, contributing to massive increases in astronomical data production.
