"Chameleon Chip" That Can Write Response Speed Cuts Time-Series Prediction Error by 40x
KAIST has developed a memtransistor whose response speed can be non-volatilely programmed, reducing the prediction error for signals containing multiple mixed frequencies by a factor of 40. This achievement overcomes the long-standing constraint of physical reservoir computing—the inability to change the time response after fabrication—through a dual-layer gate structure.
