最終更新: 2026年7月9日Discoveryは、米国エネルギー省（DOE）のオークリッジ国立研究所（ORNL）に2028年に導入される予定の次世代スーパーコンピューターである。AMD Instinct MI430XアクセラレーターとEPYCプロセッサーを搭載し、現行のフロンティア（Frontier）を大幅に上回る性能を目指している。科学シミュレーションからAI訓練データの生成までを一貫して行うパイプラインの構築を目的としており、特に高いFP64性能を維持することで、高精度な科学的知見の創出を支える基盤として期待されている。
