Overview
Auto Super Resolution (Auto SR) is an integrated Windows feature that uses artificial intelligence to automatically upscale the resolution of games in real-time. By leveraging the NPU in modern processors like the Snapdragon X Elite, it allows games to be rendered at a lower internal resolution for higher frame rates while maintaining high-quality visual output, similar to technologies like DLSS or FSR but implemented at the OS level.
