窓ガラスが発電所になる日。髪の毛の1万分の1の「透明なペロブスカイト太陽電池」が都市を変える
シンガポールの南洋理工大学の研究チームは、ペロブスカイトを用いた10ナノメートル級の超薄型・半透明太陽電池を開発した。これは、光透過性と発電効率のトレードオフを克服し、建物の窓や外壁を巨大な発電プラントに変える可能性を秘めている。従来の太陽電池が抱えていた美観や設置場所の制約を打破し、都市景観に溶け込む新たなエネルギーインフラの実現に貢献する画期的な成果である。
