Naxtra is the commercial brand for CATL's sodium-ion battery cells. These batteries utilize advanced packaging and chemistry to achieve energy densities (up to 175 Wh/kg) that rival traditional lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The technology is specifically noted for its 'winter monster' performance, maintaining high capacity and discharge power in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius.
